Who We Are
We are owners Kate and Nick, a husband and wife duo living in Milwaukee.
Nick founded Ginkgo Stonescapes in 2022 because he saw that many companies in the industry were delivery the same product leading to landscape conformity instead of diversity. He knew each client was different and deserved a landscape design that was as unique as they were. That’s why he likes to push the creative boundary; building one of a kind landscapes & features mixing natural and durable materials.
Nick has been working in landscaping since 2015. Prior to landscaping he was a mason, welder, professional driver, and even ran a taco truck. His prior experiences & skills allow him to craft custom landscapes and features that are one of a kind. He incorporates metal into his designs whenever possible and loves working with natural stone. He still gets to drive & operate equipment everyday. As for the tacos…he cooks for the team from time to time!
Entrepreneurship and plants are in Kate’s blood. Her family started a vegetable business that turned into a flower nursery. She never thought she would be working in landscaping and is loving it! Kate has worked in Corporate America in Sales & Purchasing. She runs the Ginkgo Office and is who you will talk to when you reach out… So Reach Out!

We believe in maximizing your budget and space and will never suggest something that’s not needed or that we wouldn’t do ourselves at our house.
When we are done we take the time to repair any lawn damage caused by our equipment so we make sure we are leaving your yard looking better than when we started.

Once we start your project we don’t stop until it’s finished to limit the disruption to you. Other contractors bounce their crews between active projects which makes your project last so much longer than necessary and keeps you in the messy construction state for far too long. We have dedicated crews and own our own equipment so we can work efficiently.
